During my recent stay at High Dalby House, I was delighted by the culinary experience that awaited me each morning. The breakfast menu presented a wide selection of top-quality, locally sourced produce, catering to diverse palates. I particularly enjoyed the hearty full English breakfast, while my companion opted for fluffy pancakes drizzled with maple syrup—both plates overflowing with generous portions that set the tone for our adventurous days in Dalby Forest. The dining area provided a warm ambiance, with its round table and large bookcase lending a sophisticated touch to our meals. I appreciated the conscientious approach of the owners, Ian and Linda, who sought to minimize single-use plastics by offering environmentally friendly dining options. On one occasion, we ordered a packed lunch for our forest exploration; it was thoughtfully prepared and ideal for a day out. High Dalby House excels not only in comfort but also in fostering a welcoming atmosphere with an emphasis on sustainability. I look forward to returning for another culinary retreat amidst the tranquility of the forest.
