During my recent stay at High Dalby House, I was delighted by the culinary experience that awaited me each morning. The breakfast menu presented a wide selection of top-quality, locally sourced produce, catering to diverse palates. I particularly enjoyed the hearty full English breakfast, while my companion opted for fluffy pancakes drizzled with maple syrup-both plates overflowing with generous portions that set the tone for our adventurous days in Dalby Forest. The dining area provided a warm ambiance, with its round table and large bookcase lending a sophisticated touch to our meals. I appreciated the conscientious approach of the owners, Ian and Linda, who sought to minimize single-use plastics by offering environmentally friendly dining options. On one occasion, we ordered a packed lunch for our forest exploration; it was thoughtfully prepared and ideal for a day out. High Dalby House excels not only in comfort but also in fostering a welcoming atmosphere with an emphasis on sustainability. I look forward to returning for another culinary retreat amidst the tranquility of the forest.
